Hi its me Amanda, I can say that I am humbly one of the world’s leading make-up artists. My prodigious artistic instincts have made me indispensable to designers, editors, photographers, art directors and celebrities alike. Equally at home orchestrating my signature red carpet look – dewy, fresh and flawless – or conceiving avant-garde innovations for catwalk or editorial. I’m a type of make-up artist whose talent and vision have made me a top global creative force.

For me, make up is more than mere glittering surfaces, it is an important signifier of the importance of both creativity and humanity. In October 2015, I published my first book, an accumulation of years of research into the history of makeup. The book quickly became a bestseller and is now published in nine languages. In tandem with my book, it is well known in the industry that I was one of the leading collectors of vintage make up in the world, with a museum quality treasure trove of seminal, valuable and important pieces: for example, the lipstick holder that Cartier made for Audrey Hepburn in 1954. The collection informs both my creative work and my own brand.

The Cosmetology course is a program that has instructor-led classroom and clinical training as well as practical hands-on application. Training encompasses three types of learning: theoretical knowledge, the foundation of the students' education; practical experience, the application of knowledge; and professional business building skills, vital for the student's success. Each phase of the student's education emphasizes a different combination of learning approaches. The Cosmetology program is comprised of hair and scalp treatments, hair care rinses, hair shaping, hair arranging, chemical waving and relaxing, hair coloring, facials, skin care, hair removal, manicuring/pedicuring, professional business-building skills in management and career development, and employability skills.

The last phase of the program will concentrate on Precision Trends in haircutting, hairstyling, and advanced hair coloring and re-texturizing. During this phase of training the student will be accompanied by licensed educators within a salon environment. Students will learn the latest styles and techniques in haircutting, hair styling and hair coloring.
